FedEx needed another Ground Distribution facility in Brooklyn and Aurora Contractors was eager to partner again with SunCap Property Group in a Design/Build Capacity. Brooklyn is one of the 4 FedEx locations Aurora and SunCap have successfully constructed together, all projects meeting time and budget constraints.

This project featured the following:

• 163,400 SF warehouse and 110,000 SF covered parking garage
• New utility services
• Pile-supported structural slab
• Aggressive schedule, with groundbreaking in Spring 2014 and completion in Spring 2015.
• 60 overhead doors
• 40 infrared CoRayVac heaters
• Toxalert gas detection system
• Dry sprinkler system
• Construction and fit-out of 10,000 SF for two office areas
