Aurora Contractors accepted a Design/Build contract for FedEx with SunCap Property Group for one of the largest ground distribution facilities in the city. Maspeth is one of the 4 FedEx locations Aurora and SunCap have successfully constructed together, all projects meeting time and budget constraints. This new construction project was wide in scope and included the following:

• 350,000 Sf multi-story distribution facility
• 11 Acres of sitework
• Off-site improvements
• 60’ In height
• Pile supported
• Sub-slab depressurization system
• Ventilation systems for interior vehicle parking
• 2nd story vehicle parking for 225 vehicles
• Corporate offices
• Aggressive schedule, with groundbreaking in May of 2016 and completion in August of 2017
